Zahlo provides separate merchant environments for safe testing and live commerce. The documentation site automatically selects the matching API origin for its environment. Never mix a Demo API key with the production origin or a production key with the Demo origin.

Environment checklist

  • Keep a separate API key for each environment.
  • Register website origins separately.
  • Use separate webhook endpoints and signing secrets.
  • Use test customer and order data in Demo.
  • Confirm the selected origin before creating a payment or subscription.

Promotion

Promote configuration deliberately: product and price identifiers, webhook destinations, return URLs, tax settings, and payment methods must be reviewed before production use. Do not copy credentials or customer records between environments.
